The AI Daily: Google researchers just announced LightLab, a new AI tool that lets users change lighting in images with high accuracy. With LightLab, you can turn lights on or off, change their color, or adjust how bright they are — all after the photo is taken.

Key notes:

  • Uses a special AI model to control light in a single photo.

  • Lets you do things like switch lights off, change brightness, and add color.

  • Automatically adds realistic shadows and reflections.

  • Trained on both real and computer-made pictures.
