PLUS: New AI tool design to enhance product listing
Good morning, AI enthusiasts. Enigma Labs just created something amazing - an AI system called Multiverse that lets multiple people share the same virtual world at once. It's affordable and does something that experts thought wasn't possible before.
The best part? Anyone can use this technology since it's open-source and only cost $1,500 to develop. This could be huge not just for gaming, but also for training, simulations, and workplace collaboration.

The AI Daily: Israeli startup Enigma Labs has introduced Multiverse, the first AI system that creates shared virtual worlds where multiple players can interact in real-time. Built by former tech and intelligence experts, this system allows players to race, pass, and crash into each other in a synced AI-generated world that updates for everyone.
Key notes:
Developed for under $1,500 in research and training.
Works on standard PCs, no special hardware needed.
Fully open-source—code, data, and research are all available.
Uses a new “channel stacking” method to track both players’ views at once.
Trained on data from the racing game Gran Turismo 4.
Why it matters: This fixes a big problem in AI-generated worlds—multiplayer consistency. Before this, AI could only create experiences for one person at a time. Multiverse changes that, opening the door to future tools where robots, cars, and people can all work and learn together in the same AI environment.

AMAZON

The AI Daily: Amazon has introduced Vulcan, its first warehouse robot with a sense of touch, designed to improve efficiency and safety in fulfillment centers by handling items in hard-to-reach storage areas.
Key notes:
Vulcan uses force sensors to detect when it touches objects.
The robot can pick and store about 75% of all item types in Amazon warehouses.
Focuses on top shelves (8 feet high) and bottom rows, reducing the need for workers to use ladders.
Now being used in Spokane, Washington, and Hamburg, Germany, with more locations coming soon.
If Vulcan can’t handle an item, it knows to ask for human help.
Why it matters: Vulcan is a big step forward in making warehouse robots smarter and safer. By combining touch and vision, it helps with difficult tasks without replacing workers. Instead, it takes on the harder, more physical jobs—letting people focus on safer, more skilled work. This could change how robots and humans work together in logistics, setting a new standard for efficiency and safety.
AI BREAKTHROUGHS

The AI Daily: Google just rolled out “implicit caching” for its Gemini API, helping developers save up to 75% on costs when using AI models for repetitive tasks—without any extra setup.
Key notes:
Works with Gemini 2.5 Pro and 2.5 Flash models.
Caching is on by default, no action needed from developers.
Token limits lowered to 1,024 for Flash and 2,048 for Pro.
Saves money by reusing past results for similar requests.
Developers should place repeated content at the start of prompts for best caching.
Why it matters: Developers have been pushing back on high API costs, especially with frequent or repeated queries. Google’s new caching system makes it easier—and cheaper—to use Gemini models, especially for apps with recurring tasks. Unlike older manual setups, this update is automatic, making AI development more cost-effective and user-friendly.
